Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 31, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Red Ape Mobile ("Company," "we," "us," "our") collects, uses, and discloses information when you use Sketch & Guess (the "App" or the "Service"), and tells you about your privacy rights and how the law protects you.

By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Interpretation and Definitions

Definitions

For the purposes of this Privacy Policy:

Collecting and Using Your Personal Data

Types of Data Collected

Usage Data

Usage Data is collected automatically when using the Service. This may include information such as your Device's IP address, device type, operating system version, unique device and installation identifiers, the features you use, gameplay events (such as rounds played, categories selected, and words drawn or guessed), app settings, and other diagnostic data.

Email Address (Optional)

During onboarding, the App offers you the option to provide an email address to receive product updates and offers. This step is entirely optional — the App is fully functional without it, and it can be skipped. If provided, your email address is stored by Our messaging provider, OneSignal, on Our behalf. Every message We send includes a way to unsubscribe, and you may also request removal by contacting Us at redapemobile@gmail.com.

Push Notification Data

If you enable notifications, a push subscription identifier is created for your Device so reminders and updates can be delivered to it.

Subscription and Purchase Data

Subscription purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store's In-App Purchase system. We do not receive or store your payment card details. To manage your subscription entitlement, the App generates a random, non-identifying account token stored on your Device, which is used to link your purchase to your subscription status across app launches and to sync entitlement information with Our backend subscription service.

Local Multiplayer (MultipeerConnectivity) Data

The App's pass-and-play and local multiplayer modes use Apple's MultipeerConnectivity framework to connect nearby devices directly over Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. Gameplay data exchanged in this way — such as the words being drawn, guesses, and scores — travels directly between the devices in the session. It is not collected, transmitted to, or stored on Our servers, and We do not have access to it.

Analytics

We use Amplitude, a third-party analytics service, to collect and analyze Usage Data such as feature usage, gameplay events, and app performance, so We can understand how the Service is used and improve it. To connect this data with your subscription status across sessions, We associate Usage Data with the random, non-identifying account token described above (and, for US-based install measurement, with Apple's privacy-preserving Search Ads attribution signal); We do not link this data to your name, email address, or any other directly identifying information. For more information, see Amplitude's Privacy Policy.

Install Attribution

We use Apple's AdServices (Apple Search Ads) attribution framework to determine whether the App was installed as a result of an Apple Search Ads campaign. This uses Apple's privacy-preserving attribution token, not an advertising identifier (IDFA), and does not track you across other apps or websites.

Advertising

The App does not display third-party advertising. We do not use advertising identifiers (such as IDFA) for behavioral or interest-based advertising, and Usage Data collected in the App is not shared with third parties for their own advertising purposes.

Email and Push Messaging

We use OneSignal, a third-party messaging service, to deliver the optional email updates and push notifications described above. Where you have provided one, your email address and Device push subscription identifier are stored by OneSignal on Our behalf. OneSignal acts as a Service Provider and processes this data only on Our instructions; no advertising identifiers are used, and We do not create a cross-application identity through OneSignal. For more information, see OneSignal's Privacy Policy.

Use of Your Data

The Company may use the collected data to: provide, maintain, and improve the Service; manage your Subscription and provide customer support; communicate with you, including sending the updates you opted into; understand usage trends and evaluate the effectiveness of the App's features and promotions; detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent or abusive use of the App; and comply with legal obligations. Data may also be used in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, as described below.

We may share your information with: Our Service Providers (Amplitude and OneSignal, and Our own subscription-service backend), solely to perform the services described above; Our affiliates, bound by this Privacy Policy; a successor entity in a business transfer; and law enforcement or other parties where required to comply with a legal obligation, protect Our rights, or protect the safety of Our users or the public. We do not sell your Personal Data.

Retention of Your Data

We retain Usage Data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, or as required by law. Where you have provided an email address, We retain it until you unsubscribe, request deletion, or after a period of inactivity, whichever comes first. The random account token used for Subscription management is retained on your Device until the App is uninstalled.

Transfer of Your Data

Your information may be processed in the United States and in other countries where Our Service Providers operate. Data protection laws in those countries may differ from those in your jurisdiction. Where your data is transferred outside the region in which you reside, We rely on appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses, consistent with applicable law.

Delete Your Data

Because the App does not require an account, most Usage Data cannot be tied back to you individually. Where you have provided an email address, you may request its deletion at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any message We send, or by emailing Us at redapemobile@gmail.com. Deletion requests are actioned within 30 days.

Security of Your Data

The security of your data is important to Us, but no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While We use commercially reasonable means to protect your data, We cannot guarantee its absolute security.

Age Requirement

Sketch & Guess is a party drawing-and-guessing game designed to be played by mixed-age groups — including families and kids playing together with adults — but the App itself is intended for use by, and account-level actions such as onboarding and purchases must be taken by, a user at least 13 years old, or with the involvement of a parent or guardian for younger children. We do not knowingly collect Personal Data (such as an email address) directly from a child under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided Us with Personal Data, please contact Us at redapemobile@gmail.com so We can take appropriate action.

Your Rights Under GDPR (EEA, UK, and Switzerland)

If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, the following applies in addition to the rest of this Privacy Policy.

Legal basis for processing. Our legal basis for collecting Usage Data is Our legitimate interest in operating, securing, and improving the Service. Where you voluntarily provide an email address, Our legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time as described under Delete Your Data above. Where processing is necessary to provide a Subscription you purchased, Our legal basis is performance of that contract.

Your rights. Subject to applicable law, you have the right to: access the Personal Data We hold about you; correct inaccurate data; request erasure; restrict or object to certain processing; and receive a portable copy of data you provided to Us. To exercise any of these rights, contact Us at redapemobile@gmail.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority.

International transfers. Where your data is transferred outside the EEA, UK, or Switzerland (for example, to Our Service Providers described above), We rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses, consistent with Transfer of Your Data above.

Your California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the CPRA) gives you additional rights over Personal Data collected about you.

We do not sell or share Personal Data, as those terms are defined under the CCPA, and We do not use or disclose sensitive Personal Data for purposes other than those necessary to provide the Service.

Subject to certain exceptions, you have the right to: know what Personal Data We have collected about you; request deletion of your Personal Data; correct inaccurate Personal Data; and not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights. To submit a request, email Us at redapemobile@gmail.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

Our Service may contain links to other websites that are not operated by Us. If you click on a third-party link, you will be directed to that third party's site. We strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of every site you visit. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update Our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date above. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes are effective when they are posted on this page.
