Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 31, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes Our policies and procedures on the collection, use and disclosure of Your information when You use the Service and tells You about Your privacy rights and how the law protects You.

We use Your information to provide and improve the Service. By using the Service, You agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Interpretation and Definitions

Interpretation

The words of which the initial letter is capitalized have meanings defined under the following conditions. The following definitions shall have the same meaning regardless of whether they appear in singular or in plural.

Definitions

For the purposes of this Privacy Policy:

Collecting and Using Your Personal Data

Types of Data Collected

Usage Data

Usage Data is collected automatically when using the Service.

Usage Data may include information such as Your Device's Internet Protocol address (e.g. IP address), the type of mobile device You use, a randomly generated device identifier, Your mobile operating system, and other diagnostic data. This information is collected in an anonymous, non-identifiable form and is not linked to any individual user.

We also collect in-app activity data including session start and end times, which letters, numbers, and shapes were traced, and which tracing mode was selected. This data is used solely to understand how the Service is used in aggregate and to improve the experience for all users.

Parent Email Address

During onboarding, the Service offers a parent or guardian the option to provide an email address in order to receive tips and updates about the Application. This step is entirely optional — the Application is fully functional without it, and it can be skipped.

Any email address We hold belongs to a parent or guardian, never to a child. We do not ask children for an email address, and We do not use the address to build a profile, to identify a child, or to target advertising. We do not sell email addresses or share them with third parties for their own marketing.

Push Notification Identifier

If You choose to enable notifications, a push subscription identifier is created for the Device so that reminders can be delivered to it. It is a Device identifier, not a personal one, and is not linked to a name or to a child.

Analytics

We use Amplitude, a third-party analytics service, to collect and analyze Usage Data. Amplitude is configured to operate in a manner compliant with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). Specifically:

For more information on Amplitude's privacy practices, please visit https://amplitude.com/privacy.

Advertising

The App does not display third-party advertising and does not use any advertising or tracking network. We do not use advertising identifiers (such as IDFA), and no data collected in the App is used for behavioral or interest-based advertising, either within the App or elsewhere.

Email and Push Messaging

We use OneSignal, a third-party messaging service, to deliver the optional parent updates and push notifications described above. Where a parent or guardian has provided one, their email address is stored by OneSignal on Our behalf, together with the Device's push subscription identifier.

For more information on OneSignal's privacy practices, please visit https://onesignal.com/privacy_policy.

Use of Your Data

The Company may use the collected data for the following purposes:

We may share Your information in the following situations:

Retention of Your Data

The Company will retain Usage Data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. We will retain and use Your data to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our legal agreements and policies.

Where a parent or guardian has provided an email address, We retain it until You unsubscribe, request deletion, or after 24 months of no engagement with Our emails, whichever comes first. Push subscription identifiers are retained for as long as notifications remain enabled on the Device, and are removed if notifications are disabled or the App is uninstalled.

We do not condition a child's participation in any activity in the App on the child (or You, on the child's behalf) disclosing more Personal Data than is reasonably necessary for that activity.

Transfer of Your Data

Your information, including Usage Data, is processed at the Company's operating offices and in any other places where the parties involved in the processing are located. It means that this information may be transferred to — and maintained on — computers located outside of Your state, province, country or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ than those from Your jurisdiction.

Your use of the Service followed by Your submission of such information represents Your agreement to that transfer.

The Company will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that Your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy and no transfer of Your data will take place to an organization or a country unless there are adequate controls in place including the security of Your data and other personal information.

Delete Your Data

You have the right to request that We delete the data We hold about You. The Service creates no user accounts, and the Usage Data We collect is anonymous, so in most cases it cannot be attributed to a specific individual and there is nothing to look up.

The one exception is a parent or guardian email address, where one has been provided. That can be removed at any time, either by using the unsubscribe link in any message We send or by emailing Us at redapemobile@gmail.com. On request We will also remove the associated push subscription identifier.

Deletion requests are actioned within 30 days.

Disclosure of Your Data

Business Transactions

If the Company is involved in a merger, acquisition or asset sale, Usage Data may be transferred. We will provide notice before Your data is transferred and becomes subject to a different Privacy Policy.

Law Enforcement

Under certain circumstances, the Company may be required to disclose Your data if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g. a court or a government agency).

Other Legal Requirements

The Company may disclose Your data in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to:

Security of Your Data

The security of Your data is important to Us, but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While We strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect Your data, We cannot guarantee its absolute security.

Children's Privacy

Preschool Tracer: ABC & Words is designed for use by children under the supervision of a parent or guardian. We are committed to complying with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and applicable international children's privacy laws.

We do not collect Personal Data from children. The analytics data We collect is anonymous, not linked to any individual, and contains no personally identifiable information. We do not collect names, phone numbers, photos, location data, or any other information that could identify a child.

The only personal information the Service ever collects is an email address supplied voluntarily by a parent or guardian, as described under Parent Email Address above. It is optional, it is used only to send updates about the Application, and it is never requested from a child. If You would prefer We hold no email address at all, simply skip that step during setup, or contact Us to have it removed.

We do not knowingly allow children to create accounts, communicate with other users, or share any personal information through the Service.

If You are a parent or guardian and You believe that Your child has provided Us with Personal Data, please contact Us immediately at redapemobile@gmail.com. If We become aware that We have inadvertently collected Personal Data from a child without appropriate consent, We will take steps to delete that information from Our servers promptly.

Parents and guardians may contact Us at any time to review the types of information We collect, request deletion of any collected information, or refuse further collection by contacting Us at redapemobile@gmail.com.

Your Rights Under GDPR (EEA, UK, and Switzerland)

If You are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, the following applies in addition to the rest of this Privacy Policy.

Legal basis for processing. Our legal basis for collecting anonymous Usage Data is Our legitimate interest in understanding and improving the Service. Where You (as a parent or guardian) voluntarily provide an email address, Our legal basis is Your consent, which You can withdraw at any time as described under Delete Your Data above.

Children's data. The App does not knowingly collect Personal Data from children, and does not rely on a child's consent for any processing. Where local law requires parental consent for an information-society service offered directly to a child below the relevant age threshold (13–16, depending on EU member state), We treat the parent or guardian downloading and operating the App on the child's behalf as having provided that consent.

Your rights. Subject to applicable law, You have the right to: access the Personal Data We hold about You; correct inaccurate data; request erasure; restrict or object to certain processing; and receive a portable copy of data You provided to Us. To exercise any of these rights, contact Us at redapemobile@gmail.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with Your local data protection supervisory authority.

International transfers. Where Your data is transferred outside the EEA, UK, or Switzerland (for example, to Our Service Providers described above), We rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses, consistent with Transfer of Your Data above.

Your California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)

If You are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the CPRA) gives You additional rights over Personal Data collected about You.

We do not sell or share Personal Data, as those terms are defined under the CCPA, and We do not use or disclose sensitive Personal Data for purposes other than those necessary to provide the Service.

Subject to certain exceptions, You have the right to: know what Personal Data We have collected about You; request deletion of Your Personal Data; correct inaccurate Personal Data; and not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights. To submit a request, email Us at redapemobile@gmail.com. We may need to verify Your identity (or Your relationship to a child user, where relevant) before completing a request.

Our Service may contain links to other websites that are not operated by Us. If You click on a third party link, You will be directed to that third party's site. We strongly advise You to review the Privacy Policy of every site You visit.

We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies or practices of any third party sites or services.

We may update Our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify You of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.

We will let You know via email and/or a prominent notice on Our Service, prior to the change becoming effective and update the "Last updated" date at the top of this Privacy Policy.
